SFP10G-USR — SFP+ 10 Gbps

The Cisco SFP10G-USR is a 10 Gbps ultra-short-reach (USR) SFP+ module over multimode fiber, limited to 100 m and compliant with the IEEE 10GBASE-SR standard. Its duplex LC (UPC) connector and 0-70 °C temperature range position it in standard intra-data center deployments. The USR designation indicates optimization for very short distances on MMF, to be distinguished from standard SR variants.

This transceiver is suited to 10G connections between servers and switches within the same rack or between nearby racks, where a 100 m MMF reach is sufficient and the cost per port must be kept under control.
