SFP-50G-BXD-I — SFP56 25/50 Gbps

The Cisco SFP-50G-BXD-I is a bidirectional SFP56 module supporting 25 and 50 Gbps throughput over single-mode fiber with a reach of 15 km. Compliant with IEEE 25GBASE-LR and IEEE 50GBASE-LR standards, it uses simplex cabling and an LC (UPC) connector to reduce the number of fibers deployed. Its industrial temperature range from -40 to 85 °C makes it suitable for installations in harsh conditions. This SKU designates the downstream direction of the BX pair.

This transceiver is aimed at network engineers deploying long-reach BX links between remote sites or between central offices and access nodes, as a complement to the SFP-50G-BXU-I.
