SFP-50G-BX40U-I — SFP56 25/50 Gbps

The Cisco SFP-50G-BX40U-I is a bi-directional (BiDi) SFP56 transceiver supporting 25 and 50 Gbps over single-mode fiber (SMF) with an LC UPC connector, compliant with the IEEE 25GBASE-ER and 50GBASE-ER standards. In upstream mode (U suffix), it transmits on a dedicated wavelength over a simplex cable, halving fiber requirements over a reach of up to 40 km. Its industrial temperature range of -40 to 85 °C provides maximum robustness.

This module is designed for operators and service providers deploying 25G/50G long-distance links over a single fiber strand in demanding environments (outdoor, industrial). It must be paired with the BX40D-I reference (downstream) at the far end. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
