The Cisco SFP-25G-AOC4M is a pre-terminated SFP28 25 Gbps Active Optical Cable (AOC) measuring 4 m. Unlike copper DAC cables, this AOC uses internal optical fibers with integrated transceivers, providing superior immunity to electromagnetic interference while retaining the low weight of a slim cable. Operating range: 0 to 70 °C.

Preferred over DAC in environments with high electromagnetic density or where cable flexibility is a priority, the SFP-25G-AOC4M suits rack-to-rack interconnections at 4 m in 25G Spine-Leaf architectures.
