The Cisco RPHY-S10G-80K-157 is a 10 Gbps SFP transceiver designed for long-reach links of up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). It transmits at 1570 nm via a duplex LC (UPC) connector, and belongs to the RPHY product line intended for distributed access network architectures.
Particularly well suited to cable operators and Internet service providers, this module carries 10 Gbps streams over significant distances between aggregation nodes.
