The QSFP-400G-DR4 is a Cisco transceiver in QSFP112 form factor capable of carrying 400 Gbps over single-mode fibre (SMF) up to 500 metres, via an MPO-12 (APC) parallel fibre connector. Compatible with the IEEE 400GBASE-DR4 and 200G-DR2 standards, it offers 2x 200G breakout options. Its extended thermal range of 0 to 75°C sets it apart from the QSFP-400G-VR4 through its tenfold greater reach and SMF support.
