The QSFP-100G-AOC is a Cisco active optical cable (AOC) in QSFP28 form factor, providing 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode optical fibre. Unlike passive copper DAC cables, this AOC integrates active transceivers at each end, enabling longer reach than passive cables while retaining the lightweight and flexibility of an optical cable.
