The Cisco QDD-400-CU1M is the shortest passive DAC cable in the QSFP-DD 400G product line, at 1 metre of pre-terminated copper. Entirely passive with no embedded active elements, it offers the lowest possible latency for a 400G interconnect and operates across a range of 0 to 70 °C.

This 1 m reference is ideal for directly connecting two stacked devices in the same rack, for example a top-of-rack switch to an adjacent server, at a lower acquisition cost than AOC cables.
