The GLC-TE is a Cisco SFP module with an RJ-45 connector supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds over Cat5e or Cat6A copper cable, with a maximum reach of 100 meters. Compliant with the IEEE 1000BASE-T standard, it converts an SFP fiber port into a Gigabit copper interface, with an extended temperature range of -5 to 85°C — which differentiates it from the standard GLC-T and makes it suitable for more thermally demanding environments.
