GLC-T — SFP 10/100/1000 Mbps

The GLC-T is a Cisco RJ-45 SFP transceiver enabling 10/100/1000 Mbps copper connectivity over Cat5e or Cat6A cable up to 100 meters. Compliant with the IEEE 1000BASE-T standard, it differs from the GLC-TE by its reduced temperature range of 0 to 70°C — suited to standard climate-controlled datacenter environments. This module fits into any Cisco SFP slot to convert a fiber interface into an auto-negotiating Gigabit copper port.

The GLC-T is recommended for server room deployments where temperature is controlled and where Gigabit copper devices need to be connected to a switch with SFP-only ports.
