The GLC-BX-U is a Cisco 1 Gbps BiDi SFP transceiver for single-mode fiber, featuring an LC (UPC) connector and a reach of 10 km. Designed to transmit and receive over a single fiber strand using two distinct wavelengths, it cuts cabling requirements in half. Operating temperature range: 0 to 70°C.
Suited to infrastructures where fiber is scarce or costly, the GLC-BX-U is used in conjunction with the GLC-BX-D to form a complete Gigabit link over a single fiber strand. Ideal for network extensions in access or campus environments. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
