The DS-SFP-FC8G-SW is a Cisco SFP+ 8 Gbps Fibre Channel transceiver in shortwave (SW) mode over multimode fibre (MMF) with a reach of 190 meters. This SW module differs from the LW variant (DS-SFP-FC8G-LW, 10km on SMF) through its use on MMF for intra-building links, with an intermediate reach of 190m enabling coverage across multiple floors or adjacent rooms. LC (PC or UPC) connector, operating from 0 to 70°C.
