The DS-SFP-FC64G-SW is a Cisco SFP+ transceiver for Fibre Channel networks, compatible with 64G (57.8 Gbps), 32G (28.05 Gbps) and 16G (14.025 Gbps) in shortwave (SW) mode. Unlike the LW variant (10 km on SMF), it operates over multimode fibre (MMF) with a reach limited to 100 meters and an LC (PC or UPC) connector. Compliant with FC-PI-5, SFF-8432, SFF-8472 and SFF-8431, it operates from 0 to 70°C.

This module is designed for short-distance SAN interconnects within the same room or datacenter, connecting Cisco MDS switches, servers and storage arrays over existing MMF infrastructure.
