The Cisco ISR 1112-8P (SKU: C1112-8P) expands on the 1112 base by offering 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports while retaining the integrated xDSL interface for copper WAN termination. The 300 Mbps throughput under IOS-XE efficiently handles traffic between the extended LAN segment (8 ports) and the xDSL uplink, with no additional equipment required.
Suited for branch offices with an xDSL connection and a larger number of local devices, this router provides more LAN ports than the base 1112 model without changing the desktop form factor.
