The Cisco ISR 1161X-8PLTEP (part number C1161X-8PLTEP) is the premium all-in-one version of the ISR 1161X family: it integrates 8 x PoE+ 1G ports, one SFP+ 10G uplink, and LTE-A Pro cellular connectivity, all within a 1.5 Gbps throughput envelope under IOS-XE. The PoE+ standard (versus basic PoE on the 1131X-8PLTEPW) delivers up to 30 W per port to power more demanding endpoints.
Designed for critical sites requiring fibre/LTE WAN redundancy and a high density of powered devices (Wi-Fi 6 access points, phones, HD cameras), the C1161X-8PLTEP is the most complete autonomous branch router in the ISR 1000 family.
