The Cisco Catalyst C8131-G2 is a desktop IOS-XE router offering 8 x 1G RJ45 ports and 2 x SFP ports for fibre-optic links, with 500 Mbps throughput. The addition of SFP ports over the C8130-G2 allows carrier fibre links or inter-site WAN links to be connected without external media converters.
The C8131-G2 (SKU: C8131-G2) targets SMEs with 50 to 100 users that have fibre access and wish to leverage Cisco SD-WAN in a compact desktop form factor.
