The Cisco 8201-24H8FH is a variant of the Cisco 8200 series optimized for mixed 100G and 400G aggregation architectures. Equipped with 24 x 100G QSFP28 ports and 8 x 400G QSFP-DD ports, it delivers a throughput of 6.4 Tbps in a 1U form factor under IOS-XR. Compared to the 8201, this model halves the number of 400G ports in favor of higher 100G density within the same footprint.
SKU 8201-24H8FH is well suited to ISPs managing both existing 100G links and 400G uplinks toward the network core simultaneously.
