Aruba JL728A

The HPE Aruba JL728A is a 1U 10GBASE-T aggregation switch with 12 multigigabit 1/10G RJ-45 ports and 4 combined 1G/10G SFP+ uplinks. Its defining feature is delivering 10G connectivity over standard copper RJ-45 cabling, eliminating the need for fiber or DAC cables. Without PoE, it is dedicated to high-speed data transport between the access and distribution layers. AOS-CX and Aruba Central provide unified management.

The JL728A is designed for 10G aggregation nodes over existing copper cabling: connecting departmental servers, high-performance NAS, or gateways toward 25G/40G networks.
