The SP-CABLE-FS-QSFP+3 is a Fortinet QSFP+ passive DAC cable for 40 Gbps twinax copper links, measuring 3 m in length. Compared to the 1 m and 5 m versions in the SP lineup, the 3 m length strikes the right balance for intra-rack or adjacent-rack connections without excess slack. Fixed QSFP+ heads at both ends eliminate any active optical components.
Ideal for spine-leaf links within a row of racks, or for connecting a high-availability FortiGate to its aggregation switch, this 3 m cable reduces cable clutter while maintaining 40 Gbps throughput without conversion.
