The Juniper Networks PTX10003-80C, SKU PTX10003-80C, is a 3U core router offering 80 combined 10/40/100/200/400GbE ports via QSFP28 connectors. It delivers 8 Tbps throughput and 5.3 Bpps forwarding performance, powered by a 12-core Intel Broadwell processor, 64 GB of SDRAM, and 2 x 200 GB SSDs. Firewall protection, L3VPN routing, Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), IRB routing, and anti-DDoS protection are all natively supported within Junos OS. A three-fan-tray design ensures thermal redundancy.
Built for telecom operators, Internet service providers, and large enterprise networks, the PTX10003-80C is the cornerstone of high-throughput IP/MPLS architectures. Its port flexibility (10G to 400G on the same chassis) allows capacity upgrades without hardware replacement.
