EVPN-VXLAN: Juniper simplicity
Juniper is renowned for the simplicity of its EVPN-VXLAN implementation compared with Cisco. Example spine-leaf configuration:
- Commit-based: atomic rollback in the event of an error
- Apply-groups: reusable templates for leaf switches
- EVPN BGP underlay using eBGP or iBGP with RR
- Anycast gateway on every leaf switch (vs centralized on Cisco)
- Native IPv6 EVPN support
