The Juniper EX3400-48P is a 1U access switch offering 48 x 1000Base-T RJ-45 PoE+ ports, 4 x 10G SFP+ ports, and 2 x 40G QSFP+ uplinks for stacking, with a switching capacity of 336 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 250 Mpps. It supports 128 LAG groups, 12 hardware QoS queues per port, 4,093 VLANs, and 1,500 ACL entries. The Juniper EX3400-48P runs JUNOS with a 150 W power consumption.

Compared to the 24P model, the Juniper EX3400-48P doubles the PoE+ port count to 48, enabling twice as many endpoints to be powered and connected within the same 1U form factor.
