The J4860D is an HPE Aruba 1 Gigabit SFP transceiver designed for very long-range applications, compliant with the 1000BASE-ZX standard. Operating over single-mode fiber via an LC duplex connector, it reaches up to 70 km — a performance that places it in a class of its own compared to LX (10 km) or LRM modules in the same family. Its thermal range of 0 to 70 °C allows use in standard network cabinets.
