The FN-TRAN-SFP28-SR is the Fortinet SFP28 module dedicated to short-range 25 Gigabit Ethernet links. Operating over multimode fiber (MMF) with an LC duplex connector, it is compliant with the 25GBASE-SR standard and delivers 25 Gbps throughput over a maximum distance of 100 m — the typical distance between a server and a top-of-rack switch.
