The FN-TRAN-SFP+SR is the Fortinet SFP+ module optimized for short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fiber. Compliant with the 10GBASE-SR standard, it supports 10 Gbps throughput up to 300 m over MMF with an LC duplex connector — offering three times the reach of the SFP28-SR module (100 m) thanks to the SFP+ form factor and OM3/OM4 MMF.
This module is the go-to solution for inter-rack and inter-room links in data centers over an existing multimode fiber infrastructure. It is suited for 10G spine-leaf architectures covering distances ranging from a few tens of meters up to 300 m. Operating temperature range: 0-70 °C. Genuine Fortinet hardware, manufacturer warranty.
