The FN-CABLE-SFP28-5 is a 5 m Fortinet SFP28 passive direct attach copper (DAC) cable for 25 Gigabit Ethernet links over twinax copper. It is the longest option in the FN SFP28 lineup (1 m, 3 m, 5 m), enabling connections to equipment in adjacent racks several units away, with SFP28 connectors integrated at both ends.
This 25G 5 m cable is particularly well suited to server-to-leaf architectures in modern datacenters, where servers equipped with 25G NICs need to reach a FortiSwitch or aggregator located a few meters away.
