The FG-TRAN-QSFP-4XSFP-5 is a 5 m Fortinet optical breakout cable that splits one QSFP+/QSFP28 port (40G/100G) into four independent SFP+/SFP28 ports (10G/25G). Using an MPO connector on the QSFP side and four LC connectors on the SFP side, it relies on multimode fiber for parallel transmission over 5 m. Its thermal range of 0 to 70 °C makes it compatible with standard datacenter environments.
With its 5 m MPO-to-4xLC MMF breakout cable, this module stands apart from the 1 m version (FG-TRAN-QSFP-4XSFP) by offering a reach suited to racks further apart in the same row. It is ideal for Fortinet architectures where a QSFP uplink feeds multiple SFP+ devices at dispersed physical locations. Genuine hardware, manufacturer warranty.
