The FG-CABLE-SR10-SFP+ from Fortinet is a 100GE CFP2 parallel breakout cable, with an MPO connector on the source side and 10 LC connectors on the destination side, delivering an aggregate throughput of 100 Gbps split across ten 10GE lanes over multimode fiber. Its 1-meter length makes it the ideal solution for intra-rack or immediately adjacent rack connections, within a thermal range of 0 to 70 °C.
This 1-meter variant stands out from the 5-meter version by its maximum compactness, engineered for high-density datacenter architectures where the distance between CFP2 equipment and 10GE switches is minimal.
