The FG-CABLE-SR10-SFP+5 from Fortinet is a 100GE CFP2 parallel breakout cable designed for very high-speed interconnects over multimode fiber (MMF). With an MPO connector on the source end and 10 LC connectors on the destination end, it splits a 100 Gbps link into ten independent 10GE streams over a reach of 5 meters. It operates across a temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, making it well suited for server room environments.
This 5-meter breakout cable targets datacenters and managed service providers looking to increase rack density by connecting a single CFP2 port to multiple 10GE devices without additional transceivers.
