The Cisco Nexus 5624Q is a 1U L3 switch from the Nexus 5000 series featuring 24 x 40 Gbps QSFP+ ports and a switching capacity of 1.92 Tbps. It includes one expansion slot and supports BGP, EIGRP, OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BFD and policy-based routing, with 4,096 VLANs, 4,000 VRF instances and 256,000 ARP entries.
Compared to the Nexus 5648Q (36 x 40G ports), the 24-port Nexus 5624Q is the right-sized choice for mid-scale deployments or racks requiring fewer 40G uplinks. Its 1U form factor saves rack space while retaining high-performance QSFP+ connectivity. Manageable via SNMP, SSH-2 and CLI. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
