The Cisco Nexus 5624Q in its 12-port version (C1-N5624Q) is a compact 1U L3 switch equipped with 12 x 40 Gbps QSFP+ ports, for a bandwidth of 1.92 Tbps. Despite its reduced port density, it retains the full power of the Nexus 5000 routing engine: BGP, EIGRP, OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, BFD, PBR, 4,096 VLANs and 4,000 VRF entries.

This 12-port QSFP+ variant of the Nexus 5624Q is designed for smaller data centers or colocation environments where the number of required 40G uplinks is limited.
