The Cisco NCS-57D2-18DD-S is a 2U router from the NCS 5700 series featuring 18 x 400G QSFP-DD ZR ports and a throughput of 7.2 Tbps. The NCS-57D2-18DD-S is a variant of the NCS-57D2-18DD-SYS, sharing the same DCI-oriented architecture for coherent 400G interconnection, but with a differentiated licensing or configuration profile. The 18 ZR interfaces enable long-distance links without external amplifiers, managed under IOS-XR.
