The Cisco NCS-57C1-48Q6D-S is a 1U router from the NCS 5700 series combining 48 x 100G QSFP28 ports with 6 x 400G QSFP-DD ZR ports, for a throughput of 7.2 Tbps. The NCS-57C1-48Q6D-S sets itself apart from the NCS-57C1-48Q6-SYS through its 400G interfaces equipped with coherent ZR technology, enabling long-distance links without dedicated optical amplification. The platform runs IOS-XR.
