The Juniper CFP2-DCO-100G-HG is a 100 Gbps CFP2 Digital Coherent Optic (DCO) transceiver over single-mode fiber (SMF) with support for HGFEC (High Gain Forward Error Correction). Its 2000 km reach via Duplex LC connector makes it suited to ultra-long-haul coherent transport links, with enhanced error correction to maximize signal quality. Operating temperature: 0 to 70 °C.

The integrated HGFEC distinguishes this module from the CFP2-DCO-T-WDM-HG: it improves sensitivity on the most challenging paths without an external EDFA.
