10G SFP+ part numbers by vendor: Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Aruba and more
SR and LR reference list
Use this list to locate candidate part numbers. It does not replace the equipment compatibility matrix.
- Cisco — SR: SFP-10G-SR; LR: SFP-10G-LR.
- Cisco Meraki — SR: MA-SFP-10GB-SR; LR: MA-SFP-10GB-LR.
- Juniper — SR: EX-SFP-10GE-SR; LR: EX-SFP-10GE-LR.
- HPE Aruba Networking — SR: J9150D; LR: J9151E.
- Fortinet — SR: FN-TRAN-SFP+SR; LR: FN-TRAN-SFP+LR.
- Palo Alto Networks — SR: PAN-SFP-PLUS-SR; LR: PAN-SFP-PLUS-LR.
- WatchGuard — SR: WG8583; select an LR optic only from the list for the relevant Firebox.
- Extreme Networks — generation-specific references; start with the platform matrix.
The same standard does not prove host support
10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-LR describe Ethernet optical interfaces. They do not prove that host firmware accepts every module implementing that interface. OPTINOC compatibility pages must therefore link each relationship to a manufacturer source and an exact equipment model.
Cisco Meraki is a separate catalog family
Meraki references should not be merged into the conventional Cisco category. The MA-SFP family has its own identifiers, and Meraki publishes the MS, MX and Meraki-managed Catalyst platforms associated with each accessory.
How to use the list for a quote
Provide the brand and exact equipment reference, followed by distance and fiber type. If you already know the optic reference, include it; otherwise OPTINOC can identify the candidate from platform documentation before confirming the quote.
