The WatchGuard Firebox M 2 Port 40Gb QSFP+ Fiber Module (SKU WG8023) is an ultra-high-throughput expansion module from WatchGuard, adding 2 x 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ interfaces to Firebox M series chassis. Each QSFP+ port accommodates a 40GbE transceiver for fiber links between datacenters or for aggregated uplinks to 40G switching cores.

This module targets network architects and cloud operators scaling their security perimeters for very high aggregated throughput, beyond the capacity of 10GbE modules.
