The Polycom SoundStation IP 7000 (part number IP-7000) is a premium IP conference phone with a 255x128 pixel display, supporting the same voice codecs as the IP 6000: G.722, G.711, G.729ab, iLBC, Siren, G.722.1, G.722.1C and Opus. It is distinguished by its longer network cable (26 ft vs 25 ft for the IP 6000) and a 2.5 mm sub-mini-phone audio output for connecting additional speakers. SRTP and LLDP-MED protocols ensure security and automatic network discovery.
