The Polycom RealPresence Trio 8800 (part number Trio-8800) is a smart conference phone featuring a 5-inch touchscreen at 1280x720 pixel resolution, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity (HFP, A2DP), and a 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet port. It supports the G.722, G.711, G.729ab, iLBC, Siren, G.722.1C and Opus voice codecs with HD Voice, AJB and PLC technology. Security is provided by WPA2, IEEE 802.1X and TLS, complemented by SRTP for audio streams.
The Poly Trio 8800 is differentiated from the Trio 8500 by its built-in Wi-Fi in addition to Bluetooth, making it particularly well suited to meeting rooms without fixed network cabling.
