The PAN-PA-7080-SMC-B-SYS-UPG is the Generation II Switch Management Card for the PA-7080, identical to the SMC-B in terms of connectivity - 2 x SFP management ports, 2 x SFP HA-1 ports, 2 x QSFP+/QSFP28 HSCI links at 100 Gbps, RJ-45 console, and micro-USB - but delivered as a complete system upgrade bundle. It allows replacement or upgrade of the management card in an existing PA-7080 chassis already in production.

This upgrade bundle targets operators and data centers looking to evolve a first-generation PA-7080 to the Generation II SMC-B platform without replacing the chassis.
