The Palo Alto Networks PAN-PA-5250-DC is a 3U next-generation firewall with dual redundant DC power supplies, offering 4 x 100GbE QSFP28, 16 x 10GbE SFP+, 4 x 10GbE RJ-45 and a 100GbE management port. It differs from the PA-5260/5280 models with sizing suited to medium workloads: 35.9 Gbps firewall throughput, 20.3 Gbps threat prevention and 14 Gbps IPSec VPN, for 8 million concurrent sessions and 384,000 new sessions per second. Twenty-five virtual systems are available, with BGP, OSPFv3 and BFD routing support.
