MA-QSFP-40G-LR4 — QSFP+ 40 Gbps

The MA-QSFP-40G-LR4 is a Cisco Meraki 40 Gbps QSFP+ module, compliant with the IEEE 40GBASE-LR4 standard, designed for long-reach links up to 10 km over single-mode fibre (SMF). With its LC (UPC) connector and duplex fibre cabling, it carries 40 Gbps by multiplexing four sub-channels over the operating wavelength. The operating temperature range is 0 to 70°C.

This module is particularly well-suited to backbone interconnects within Cisco Meraki deployments, enabling inter-building or inter-site links at 40 Gbps without costly dark fibre infrastructure.
