The Fortinet FortiGate FG-4200F is a next-generation firewall (NGFW) in a 2U form factor sharing the same performance specifications as the FG-4201F: 800 Gbps firewall throughput, 40 Gbps NGFW, 280 Gbps IPSec VPN, and 35 Gbps threat protection. It also features 8 100 Gb QSFP28 or 40GE QSFP+ ports, 18 25 Gb SFP28 or 10GE SFP+ slots, and 2 RJ-45 management ports for ultra-high-density connectivity. The difference between the FG-4200F and the FG-4201F lies in the commercial SKU and associated licensing options, as the hardware specifications are identical.
