The Fortinet FortiGate 101F, part number FG-101F, is a compact 2U next-generation firewall designed for mid-sized headquarters and distributed campus environments. Driven by the FortiASIC SOC4 chip, it delivers 20 Gbps firewall throughput, 11.5 Gbps IPSec VPN, and 1 Gbps SSL inspection. The front panel includes 2 x 10GbE SFP+ ports, 10 x Gigabit SFP ports, and 20 x 1000Base-T ports, along with two 480 GB SSDs for local log storage.
Designed as the successor to the 100F with local logging capability, the FG-101F handles 1.5 million concurrent TCP sessions, 16,000 client-to-gateway IPSec VPN tunnels, and up to 128 FortiAPs in total mode. Its Zero-Touch Provisioning feature simplifies large-scale branch deployments.
