The Fortinet FG-90G is a 1U Next-Generation Firewall powered by the NP7Lite ASIC, purpose-built for multi-gig branch deployments without PoE. It combines 12 x 2.5G ports, 4 x 10G SFP+ ports and a dedicated WAN interface, reaching 36 Gbps firewall throughput and 18 Gbps in NGFW mode. It supports 2,000 simultaneous IPsec tunnels and is managed via FortiOS.
Unlike the FG-91G, the FG-90G offers no PoE, making it suited to 150-user branches that already have a separate power infrastructure and want to take advantage of 2.5G multi-gig connectivity for workstations and local servers.
