The BR-SLX9850-4-BND-DC is the four-slot Extreme Networks SLX 9850 chassis with DC power supply. Its maximum switching capacity is 115 Tbps, supporting up to 144 x 100 GbE ports, 240 x 40 GbE ports, and 960 x 10 GbE ports depending on the modules used. It ships with two 3,000 W DC power supplies, one management module, five switch fabric modules, and three fan modules. Compared to the eight-slot chassis, this four-slot form factor offers a reduced footprint while retaining the same modular SLX 9850 architecture.

It suits mid-size data centers or points of presence (PoPs) that require high switching capacity with DC power without deploying a full-size chassis.
