The BR-SLX9850-10GX72S-M is an interface module for the Extreme Networks SLX 9850 chassis, purpose-built for very high-density 10 Gbps connectivity: it provides 72 x 10 Gbps SFP+ ports on a single blade. This density of 72 SFP+ ports sets it apart from the QSFP28 modules in the same SLX 9850 family. The MAC table scales to 750K entries, with an OptiScale routing plane supporting 1,500,000 IPv4 prefixes and 140,000 IPv6 prefixes, as well as MPLS.

This module is particularly well suited for data centers looking to aggregate a large number of 10GbE servers or devices into a core chassis without requiring speed converters.
