The BR-SLX9850-10GX72S-D is the 72-port 10 Gbps SFP+ module for the Extreme Networks SLX 9850 chassis in its reduced routing-table variant. With 72 x 10G SFP+ ports and a capacity of 256,000 IPv4 routes and 64,000 IPv6 routes, it differs from the -M model (1,500,000 IPv4 routes) through its sizing oriented toward aggregation and distribution rather than internet transit. The MAC table remains at 750K entries for efficient traffic management.

This module suits data center or campus deployments where 10G port density is the priority and a full internet routing table is not required.
