Extreme Networks SLX 9640 - EN-SLX-9640 -24S

The Extreme Networks SLX 9640, model EN-SLX-9640-24S, is the base chassis of the 1U Extreme Routing line, shipped without power supplies or fans to allow full flexibility in the choice of PSUs and airflow direction. It features 24 SFP+ ports at 1G/10G and 4 QSFP28 ports supporting 10/25/40/50/100 Gbps, for a switching capacity of 900 Gbps and a forwarding throughput of 810 Mpps. The MAC table scales to 640K entries, and the 16 MB buffer reduces packet loss during traffic spikes. VXLAN, SDN, and Zero-Touch Provisioning are natively integrated in Extreme SLXOS.
