The Cisco Firepower 1120 (part number FPR1120-NGFW-K9) is an NGFW from the Firepower 1000 series, combining application visibility and control (AVC), intrusion prevention (IPS), and TLS inspection in a single compact appliance. It delivers 1.5 Gbps with AVC+IPS on 1024-byte frames, 550 Mbps on short traffic (450B), and an IPSec VPN throughput of 1 Gbps. Maximum capacity is 200,000 concurrent sessions and 15,000 new connections per second. Interfaces include 4 x SFP ports and 8 x RJ-45 ports, running Cisco Threat Defense 6.4.
