The Cisco ASR-9903-FC is the base chassis of the ASR 9903 router, delivered with 2 redundant route processors (RP), 2 integrated switch fabrics, 4 power supply modules, and 4 fans in a redundant configuration. The fixed card integrates 16 x 100GE QSFP28 ports and 20 native SFP+ ports for a total throughput of 1.6 Tbps, with 32 GB of DDR4 SDRAM on the RPs. A dedicated slot allows optional addition of a PEC expansion card on demand. The router operates under Cisco IOS XR.
